This Scheurebe presents a luminous pale straw hue, inviting exploration. The nose is a vibrant bouquet of ripe passion fruit, gooseberry, and a hint of elderflower, underscored by a subtle minerality. On the palate, it reveals a lively interplay of crisp acidity and a medium-bodied texture, showcasing flavors of juicy grapefruit and a whisper of lychee. The finish is clean and refreshing, with a lingering citrus zest and a touch of herbal nuance. This wine exemplifies the varietal's potential, offering both immediate appeal and a nod to classic Rheinhessen craftsmanship.

We are 50+ wine professionals (sommeliers, buyers, MW candidates) across the US, UK, France, Greece, Italy, and beyond. We review wines via blind tastings with a standardized rubric, using both 100-point and 5-star scales.

Braunewell Unser Täglich Scheurebe is crafted from the Scheurebe grape, known for its aromatic profile. The vineyards are located in the Rheinhessen region of Germany, benefiting from a temperate climate that allows for optimal ripening. This dry wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks to preserve its fresh, fruit-forward character. The result is a crisp and vibrant wine with notes of citrus and exotic fruits, balanced by a refreshing acidity. Ideal for everyday enjoyment, it pairs well with light dishes and is best served chilled.
