The history of Champagne dates back to the early 17th century, when the region was first planted with vines. The region was initially known for its still wines, but it was not until the 19th century that the production of sparkling wines began. The first sparkling Champagne was produced in 1836, and the region has since become synonymous with sparkling wines.

Rich, golden appearance with a delicate, fine bubble. The initial moments are led by by a leesy, toasty character, giving way to a ripe peach and apple compote after 30 minutes. The blend is comprised of 60% Pinot Noir, 25% Chardonnay, and 15% Meunier. The wine is marked by a rich, racy texture, with a deep and minerally profile, featuring nuances of pear and spicy nuance. A clever strategy to seduce those who may be intimidated by the price, I believe. However, I hesitate to deduct a star due to its high price in Korea, which no longer applies. Nonetheless, I believe the wine deserves to be savored and appreciated.
