Bodegas Care Tinto Sobre Lías Garnacha - Syrah is praised for its rich, fruity profile featuring blackberry, plum, and cherry notes, complemented by floral and spicy hints. While some appreciate its smooth tannins and balanced acidity, others find it overpowering or lacking complexity. The wine's affordability and versatility make it a popular choice for casual and social settings.
This wine is a blend of Garnacha and Syrah grapes, crafted by Bodegas Care. The term "Sobre Lías" refers to the aging process where the wine is left in contact with its lees (sediment) for an extended period. This technique adds complexity and texture to the wine. On the nose, expect aromas of ripe red fruits, such as cherries and raspberries, along with hints of black pepper and spices. The palate offers a harmonious balance between the fruitiness of the Garnacha and the structure of the Syrah. The wine showcases flavors of dark berries, plums, and a touch of vanilla. The tannins are smooth and well-integrated, providing a pleasant mouthfeel. With its medium to full body, this wine pairs well with a variety of dishes. It would complement grilled meats, roasted vegetables, or even hearty stews. The vibrant acidity and fruit-forward character make it an excellent choice for casual gatherings or cozy evenings.
