The wine's intense character is a far cry from the understated elegance it's described as possessing. in contrast I appreciate the wine's distinct fruitiness, it's not enough to elevate it beyond the realm of a standard table wine.
Yingjuan
The wine's aromatic profile is outlined by a pronounced intensity of green fruit (apple), citrus (lemon), and stone fruit (peach). The addition of oak (spice, vanilla) adds body and nuance to the broadly flavor experience.
Clebinho
The nose is refined, it's a very uncomplicated scent, with a gentle suggestion of musk, and a gentle warmth of light wood

Bodega Norton Barrel Select Chardonnay offers a mix of opinions. Some praise its intense green and tropical fruit flavors, creamy texture, and subtle oak integration, while others find it unbalanced and lacking elegance. Notable flavors include apple, peach, and pineapple, with hints of vanilla and oak. It is generally considered a decent, everyday wine with a smooth finish, though some vintages are more appreciated than others.
The Bodega Norton Barrel Select Chardonnay is a delightful white wine with a rich and complex character. It displays a bright golden color in the glass. On the nose, this Chardonnay offers a bouquet of tropical fruits such as pineapple and mango, complemented by hints of vanilla and toasted oak. The palate is opulent, showcasing ripe tropical fruit complemented by layers of vanilla, toast and butterscotch derived from oak. The tropical fruit flavors persist, accompanied by notes of stone fruit and a touch of butter.
