Bernard Defaix Saint Bris Sauvignon 2024

The 2018 Bernard Defaix is a medium-bodied wine with a lemony appearance, featuring aromas of cut grass, minerals, white stone, passion fruit, pineapple, pear, and suggestions of white flower and flint. The body is medium, with medium tanginess and a steady finish. The impression is clean, crisp, and round, with a gentle ripeness of tropical fruit and a mineral tone. The minerality is moderate, and the linger is well-balanced, with a combination of minerals and ripe fruits.

Lush and full-bodied wine from the Burgundy region, with a distinctive terroir that sets it apart from its Burgundy counterparts. The nose is influenced by by a rich, fruity aroma, with whispers of citrus and a touch of minerality. The sensation is equally impressive, with a balanced stability of undertones and a lingering linger that leaves a long impression.

Clean as the finest Sauvignon Blanc can be, a true delight for those who appreciate its bright qualities.
