Artuke El Escolladero

Artuke El Escolladero is praised for its rich, full-bodied character and complex aromatic profile. While some appreciate its silky smoothness and refined taste, others note its high liveliness and tannins, suggesting it may benefit from further aging. Common flavors include cacao, leather, blackberry, and floral notes, with a comforting finish.

Artuke El Escolladero presents a deep ruby hue, indicative of its concentrated nature. On the nose, it unveils a sophisticated bouquet of ripe blackberries, cassis, and a hint of graphite, underscored by subtle notes of cedar and dried herbs. The palate is full-bodied and impeccably structured, with velvety tannins and a vibrant acidity that provides balance and lift. Layers of dark fruit and mineral nuances unfold, leading to a long, elegant finish with whispers of cocoa and a touch of anise. This wine exemplifies the finesse and depth characteristic of premium Rioja, offering both immediate pleasure and potential for aging.
