Truly transcendent experience, with an atmosphere that sets the tone for a truly top notch wine. The moment the bottle is opened, the room is enveloped by an intoxicating aroma that extends long after the initial pour. A 1.5-hour waiting period is well worth the investment, as the wine's dynamic nature is expertly showcased. A truly life-changing wine, one that will be savored and remembered for years to come.

Voss Experts4.6

Argot Starstruck Cabernet Sauvignon presents a deep ruby hue with purple reflections. The nose reveals an intricate tapestry of aromas, bursting with vibrant notes of ripe blackcurrant and dark plums, intertwined with hints of cedar and a touch of vanilla that suggest careful oak aging. As the wine opens up, subtle layers of dark chocolate and freshly picked mint emerge, adding depth to the bouquet. On the palate, it reveals a full-bodied profile, with velvety tannins that embrace the fruit, creating a luxurious mouthfeel. The blackcurrant and blackberries notes take center stage, complemented by an enticing spice that dances on the tongue. A thread of forest floor and leather undertones weaves through, enhancing the wine's complexity and grounding its fruitiness.

We are 50+ wine professionals (sommeliers, buyers, MW candidates) across the US, UK, France, Greece, Italy, and beyond. We review wines via blind tastings with a standardized rubric, using both 100-point and 5-star scales.
