Antica Fratta Essence Rosé is praised for its elegant balance and harmonious flavors, featuring strawberry, brioche, and floral notes. While some appreciate its lively and refreshing nature, others find it falls short as a sparkling wine. The wine's effervescence and vibrant fruit aromas are often highlighted, making it a delightful choice for casual sipping, though not universally impressive.
This light pink sparkling wine is a blend of 50% Pinot Noir and 50% Chardonnay grapes. The wine comes from Franciacorta (Italy) and is made in the same way as champagne. It undergoes a second fermentation in the bottle and ages on the lees for at least 36 months. This gives a pleasant perlage with aromas of red fruits and a soft finish. This rosé from Antica Fratta goes best with a fish dish. Drink now, or keep for another five years.
