The Andrian Rubeno Lagrein presents a medium ruby color. On the nose, it unfolds with an enticing bouquet of red and dark berries, predominantly cherry and blackberry, complemented by subtle hints of plum and a whisper of something floral—perhaps violet or lavender. The earthiness comes through as well, with notes of earthy, giving it a layered complexity. Upon tasting, the wine reveals a medium body, with structured tannins that are firm. The acidity is bright yet balanced, enhancing the fruit character while adding a refreshing lift on the finish.

Eboni
Deep and engaging wine with a rich, leathery character on the nose, followed by a deep, silky grip on the tongue. The tasting is marked by iodine and meaty notes, which add complexity and complexity, making it a challenging but rewarding encounter to savor.
Auguste
Judicious interpretation of Lagrein from a reputable winery, indeed. Fermentation in stainless steel, malolactic fermentation and ageing in large oak casks for 6 months. It's a agreeable wine with voluptuous flavors of blackberry. Good zest and soft tannins. It has a lovely young ruby color with purplish hues. Ready to drink, it doesn't seem excessively suited to extended aging. It performs well with cheeses, too. Another fine product from Andrian, a winery that prioritizes prudent choices.
Regner
Rustic and woody Lagrein with a rich, fruity aroma featuring accents of black cherries, liquorice, herbs, and autumn leaves. The grip is light, with a mild sweetness and a comforting juiciness.

Andrian Rubeno Lagrein is praised for its rich, fruity flavors, with notes of blackberry, cherry, and plum. It offers a complex profile with earthy, leathery, and meaty undertones, while some find it straightforward and lacking depth. The wine is noted for its smooth tannins and polished texture, suitable for pairing with cheeses and meats. Opinions vary on its aging potential, but it is generally well-received.
