Exhibiting a deep garnet hue, the Corvée Passoeroee Lagrein offers a compelling aromatic profile of ripe blackberries, dark plum, and a subtle hint of violet. The nose is further enriched by nuances of dark chocolate and a whisper of clove. On the palate, the wine reveals a robust structure, with firm yet polished tannins and a vibrant acidity that invigorates its full-bodied character. The mid-palate is layered with flavors of black cherry and a touch of earthiness, leading to a long, mineral-driven finish. This Lagrein stands as a quintessential expression of Alto Adige's terroir, showcasing both power and elegance.

We are 50+ wine professionals (sommeliers, buyers, MW candidates) across the US, UK, France, Greece, Italy, and beyond. We review wines via blind tastings with a standardized rubric, using both 100-point and 5-star scales.

Corvée Passoeroee Lagrein is crafted from the Lagrein grape, indigenous to the Alto Adige region of northern Italy. The vineyard benefits from a cool alpine climate, which helps preserve the grape's natural acidity and vibrant fruit character. The wine undergoes fermentation in stainless steel to maintain freshness, followed by aging in oak barrels to enhance its structure and complexity. This results in a full-bodied red wine with pronounced dark fruit flavors, balanced by firm tannins and a hint of spice. Ideal for those seeking a robust yet approachable wine experience.
