Rascal Mathobo
A robust and full-bodied Nebbiolo from La Morra, boasting a complex garnet red hue. The wine's multi faceted profile is recognized by accents of blackberry jam, cherry, and wet leaves, accompanied by the subtle sweetness of black coffee and tea. The tannins are firm and slightly sweet, adding profoundness and profile to the wine. Overall, this is a very good and authentic Nebbiolo, well-suited to pairing with rich dishes.
G.Sang
Decent, straightforward wine with a understated character. The nose is understated, even after a brief decanting, revealing a muted earthy and minerality feel alongside plum notes. The mouthfeel is zesty and fruit-forward, with a focus on black cherry and blackcurrant flavors. The tannins are refined and well-balanced, even as the zest provides a clean touch. The body is medium, and the comprehensively memory is one of a pleasant, easy-drinking wine that's well matched for casual occasions. It's a solid recommendation for pasta dishes, importantly when paired with meat-based sauces and a mild, aged cheese like pecorino. It's not a specifically nuanced or memorable wine, but it's a pleasant, crowd-pleasing option.
Niusha
The nose is a multi faceted tapestry of rose petal, damp soil, and a fascinating earthy undertone, with a wisp of mushroomy funk. A decaying, sulphuric note reminiscent of barnyard and wet earth is graceful by ripe tannins, bright acidity, and a measured level of alcohol. The addition of sour cherry and overripe strawberry adds profoundness and interest, in contrast the freshness provides a zesty quality. This wine is a fantastic match for a variety of dishes, especially those featuring liveliness and a touch of sweetness. The nose is a true standout, with tertiary aromas that are both intriguing and complex.
