Vinisterra

Vinisterra was founded in 2002 through the friendship of Ensenada businessman Guillermo Rodríguez and winemaker Christoph Gaertner. The winery operates as a micro-producer with 15 collaborators.

Grapes grow across a total area of 11 hectares, with vineyards located in Valle de Santo Tomás and Valle de Guadalupe. Producing 50,000 bottles of wine per year, its wines include a Rioja-style wine with Baja California identity from the Cascabel vineyard in Valle de Santo Tomás.
