Ty Caton Vineyards is a family-owned and operated winery owned by Ty Caton, who serves as CEO, COO, and winemaker. Caton Vineyard was originally established as a winery and vineyard in the 1920s. Vines were planted beginning in winter 2000, and the winery's inaugural release was the 2000 Cabernet Sauvignon in 2002, followed by its first estate vintage in 2004.

The estate vineyards are located in the Moon Mountain District AVA in Sonoma Valley. The property totals 108 acres, with 40 acres planted to vines on hillsides. Vines are trellised using a double-guyot system targeting yields of two to three tons per acre. SandyBrooke is a two-acre vineyard planted in 2006 by Ty's father, Carlton Brooke Caton, where Petit Verdot is grown. The winery specializes in Cabernet Sauvignon, and estate grape varieties include Merlot, Malbec, Syrah, and Petite Sirah.
On VinoVoss, Ty Caton Vineyards has 1 wine in stock: 1 red. Their average rating is 4.3 out of 5 from 27 ratings.
