Synthesis

Synthesis is a wine label of Martin Ray Vineyards & Winery in California. Martin Ray crafted single-varietal, region-specific wines in Saratoga in the Santa Cruz Mountains from 1943 through 1972. Martin Ray Vineyards & Winery is owned by Courtney Benham, who purchased the brand and has been committed to producing wines bearing the Martin Ray name since 1990.

Martin Ray Vineyards & Winery made its home in the Russian River Valley in 2003, on the edge of Green Valley. Synthesis is blended from barrels of the vintage, and its wines include Cabernet Sauvignon drawing on vineyards in Stags Leap, Rutherford and Howell Mountain.
