About Pizzolato
Pizzolato is a winery in Villorba, near Treviso, founded in 1981 as the agricultural company Pizzolato Settimo & Gino. Its winery was inaugurated in May 2016. Settimo is the winery’s owner, while Sabrina Rodelli is co-owner and export manager.
Its vineyards cover 58 hectares and are all cultivated according to organic farming principles. The vines grow in stony soil rich in mineral elements, with stones carried by the Piave River. Its wines include Malanotte DOCG – Il Barbarossa and the sparkling wines Frederik, made from Chardonnay, and Stefany, made from Prosecco. Novello 2019 was presented as its first wine made from resistant PIWI varieties.
