Old World Winery

Old World Winery is a small, family-owned and operated winery in Fulton, California. Darek Trowbridge’s great-grandfather, Giuseppe Martinelli, planted the 1890 Block at A.J. Duckhorn Vineyard in 1890. Darek is the winery’s proprietor and winemaker, making biodynamic wines.

Flow Vineyard lies in the Fountain Grove District, Santa Rosa, Sonoma County. The grapes come from organic, biodynamic, dry-farmed vineyards and are harvested by hand, with varieties including Muscadelle, Tousseau Gris, Palomino, Mondeuse Noir, Abouriou, and Zinfandel. In the cellar, Darek uses yeast from the vineyard, and nothing is added to the wine except a minimal amount of protective sulfur in barrel.
