About Lombardo
Lombardo is a winery founded in Marsala in 1881 by Giuseppe Lombardo Maltese. A builder, Giuseppe envisioned his ships carrying wine from his native land around the world. The winery is managed by the Lombardo family.
Its facilities in Marsala face the sea and provide approximately 46,000 hectolitres of storage capacity, including 13,000 hectolitres in oak. A modern bottling plant and a laboratory where wine quality can be checked at any time support the winery’s development. The winery is also authorized to produce and bottle sacramental wine for Holy Mass.
