Holloran was founded in 1999 as a grower and wine producer in Oregon’s Willamette Valley by proprietors Eve and Bill Holloran, who moved to the Portland area in 1999. In September 1999, the winery started in a converted horse barn in West Linn. Its first harvest in 1999 yielded 500 cases of Pinot noir, Riesling, and Chardonnay. Winemaker Mark La Gasse has been making wine at the winery since 2005.

The winery produces more than 10,000 cases a year. Vineyards are farmed using sustainable farming practices, including organic and biodynamic disciplines. Located in Dundee, Le Pavillon Vineyard was planted between 1972 and 1974 to Pinot noir, Chardonnay, and Riesling. The 20-acre ANA Vineyard was acquired in 2013 and grows Pinot noir and Riesling. La Chenaie Vineyard is a 103-acre site with 18 acres producing and 8 more being planted, growing Pinot noir, Riesling, and Tempranillo. Its wines include barrel-aged Pinot noir that ages for 18 months in French oak barrels.
On VinoVoss, Holloran has 2 wines in stock: 2 red. Their average rating is 4.0 out of 5 from 27 ratings.
