Grassi is a family-run winery in Napa Valley’s eastern benchlands, on land that Mark and Jami Grassi purchased in 1999. In 2001, they made their first wines, and Mark planted four acres of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc with vineyard manager Mary Maher’s help. Their first commercial vintage followed in 2005, and Miguel Luna planted Ribolla Gialla in 2016. Their daughter Cassandra runs the winery, while her husband Miguel manages the vineyards.

The fourteen-acre property has five acres of Cabernet Sauvignon and Ribolla Gialla in the Napa Valley AVA, south of the Stags Leap District and north of Coombsville. The vineyard lies on an ancient riverbed, with Coombs gravelly loam soil. Its wines include Cabernet Sauvignon, sparkling and still Ribolla Gialla, and Sangiovese, made in collaboration with winemaker Maayan Koschitzky. All are made in small batches without high alcohol or overextraction.
On VinoVoss, Grassi has 3 wines in stock: 1 red, 1 white. Their average rating is 4.2 out of 5 from 42 ratings.
