Pierre Gosset, alderman of Aÿ and winegrower, founded the house in 1584. In 1760, Jean Gosset first used the antique bottle design that became the emblem of Maison Gosset. In 1993, the house joined the Renaud-Cointreau family group. Gosset acquired a 2-hectare estate in Épernay in 2009 and opened it to the public in July 2021. Odilon de Varine is the cellar master of the house.

The estate is located in Épernay in a listed park with 1.7 km of 19th-century cellars. Gosset selects grapes sourced from 140 hectares across the appellation and crafts wines using Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The winemaking method preserves the original freshness of grape aromas and gives the wines the potential for long maturation on their lees in cellars. Its wines include Gosset Celebris.
On VinoVoss, Gosset has 5 wines in stock: 5 sparkling. Their average rating is 4.3 out of 5 from 93 ratings.
