Dutton-Goldfield is a winery in the Green Valley of Russian River Valley AVA, founded in 1998 by Steve Dutton and Dan Goldfield. Steve’s father, Warren Dutton, began growing grapes in the western Russian River Valley in the mid-1960s. Dan earned an M.S. in Enology at the University of California at Davis in 1986, and Steve joined Dutton Ranch full-time in 1987.

Dutton Ranch supplies most of the winery’s fruit and spans more than 1,000 acres across over 80 vineyards in the western Russian River Valley. It grows Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, and all its vineyards are certified sustainable under the California Sustainable Winegrowing Alliance and Sonoma County Winegrowers Sustainable Program; many also hold Fish Friendly Farming certification. Dutton-Goldfield’s wines include Dutton Ranch Chardonnay and Dutton Ranch Pinot Noir, multi-vineyard cuvées from select Dutton family vineyard sites across the Russian River Valley.
