Domaine Pierre Gelin is a family-owned property founded in 1925 by Pierre Gelin. The estate covers approximately 13 hectares in Fixin and Gevrey-Chambertin, and Fixin 1er Cru Clos Napoléon and Gevrey-Chambertin Clos de Meixvelle are monopoles of the estate. In the vineyards, lutte raisonnée is practiced, soils are ploughed, and natural fertilizers from organic farming are used if needed, while vineyard work includes selective debudding and manual leaf removal. Wines are aged in oak barrels for 20 to 22 months, using a proportion of new oak that varies by cru and vintage. They are bottled at the estate and stored in the cellars for one to two years before commercial release. Its wines include Bourgogne Passetoutgrain, Bourgogne Aligoté, Bourgogne Rouge, Fixin, Fixin 1er Cru Les Hervelets, 1er Cru Clos Napoléon, Gevrey-Chambertin Clos de Meixvelle, 1er Cru Clos Prieur, and Chambertin Clos de Bèze.
