About Domaine Bachelier
Domaine Bachelier is a family wine estate in Villy, near Chablis in the Yonne. Winegrowing has passed from father to son in the family, and the estate is managed by Florence and François Bachelier. Their sons Jimmy and Alex have joined the family business, where François works as both winegrower and winemaker.
The estate covers 18 hectares and grows Chardonnay, with strict control of yields. Winemaking involves very few interventions, and all the estate’s wines are harvested, aged and bottled on site. Its wines include Petit Chablis, Chablis and Chablis 1er Cru.
