Dashe Cellars is a family-owned winery founded by the husband and wife winemaking team of Michael and Anne Dashe. Their winemaking follows a traditional approach with small-lot fermentation, indigenous yeasts, and little-to-no fining or filtration.

After 15 years in Oakland's Jack London Square district, the winery moved to Spirits Alley on the old Naval Airbase in Alameda, California. The winery partners with small growers in Sonoma and Mendocino counties to limit yields and reduce or eliminate chemical usage. Vineyard sources include the organic-certified McFadden Farm in Potter Valley for Riesling, Bedrock Vineyard in Sonoma Valley founded in 1854, and the sandy, dry-farmed Evangelho Vineyard in Contra Costa County, planted in 1890. Its wines include Dry Creek Zinfandel and Ancient Vines.
