Crocus is a wine producer in Cahors, France, established in 2011 as a joint venture between winemaker Paul Hobbs and Bertrand Gabriel Vigouroux. Vigouroux’s family has produced wine in Cahors since the 1880s. In 2007, Vigouroux learned of Hobbs’s work with Malbec while visiting Argentina and invited him to visit upon returning home. Hobbs visited Cahors in 2008, and the two created Crocus in 2011.

Crocus wines use Malbec selected from three Cahors terroirs: the Plateau and the 4th and 3rd Terraces in the Lot Valley. Hobbs initiated a change from machine harvesting to hand harvesting and emphasized cleanliness in winemaking. Its wines include L’Atelier, Le Calcifère, and La Roche Mère.
On VinoVoss, Crocus has 2 wines in stock: 2 red. Their average rating is 4.1 out of 5 from 53 ratings.
