Château Nozieres

Château Nozieres is run by the Maradenne-Guitard family.

The estate comprises 55 hectares of vines and about ten hectares of meadows and woods. Its vineyards are located on the sunny terraces of the commune of Vire-sur-Lot in the Cahors region, where vineyards are planted on limestone scree cones and high terrace slopes. The vineyard extends within a 1-kilometer radius around the property across a mosaic of roughly 40 parcels on Lot valley terraces. The cellar is equipped with concrete vats, oak barrels, foudres, temperature-controlled tanks, a pneumatic press, and a peristaltic pump. Its wines include AOP Cahors and IGP Côtes du Lot. White IGP Côtes du Lot wines use Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, and Manseng, while rosés use Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc.
