Château de Chamirey was built at the beginning of the 18th century as an Italian-influenced château overlooking French gardens. The property passed from the Dupaty de Clam family to the family of the Marquis de Jouennes d'Herville, and bottling wine at the estate began in 1934 by the Marquis de Jouennes. Later, Bertrand Devillard expanded the estate across Mercurey terroirs to 37 hectares.

Erected on a rocky outcrop in Mercurey, the estate spans 37 hectares, including 27 hectares of red wines, 10 hectares of white wines, and 15 hectares of Premiers Crus. It holds major parcels in six Mercurey Premiers Crus, making up nearly half of its area, and exclusively owns the Premier Cru Les Ruelles in red and Premier Cru La Mission in white. Its vines are planted at a density of 10,000 vines per hectare, have an average age of 35 years, and are farmed using reasoned agriculture with limited applications of treatment products.
On VinoVoss, Château de Chamirey has 3 wines in stock: 2 red, 1 white. Their average rating is 4.2 out of 5 from 79 ratings.
