Bertani is a winery founded in Valpantena in 1857 by brothers Giovan Battista and Gaetano Bertani. Gaetano travelled to Burgundy, where he learned techniques of viticulture and winemaking from his friend Jules Guyot.

Bertani has historically valued the individual territories of the Veronese zone, from Valpolicella Classica to Valpantena and from Soave to Lugana. Its wines include Amarone della Valpolicella Classico, Valpolicella Classico le Miniere and Valpolicella Classico Superiore Ognisanti. The latter two come from single vineyards at Tenuta Novare, and Ognisanti was Bertani’s first single-vineyard wine. Bertani made the first official vintage of its Amarone della Valpolicella Classico using natural appassimento.
On VinoVoss, Bertani has 4 wines in stock: 2 red, 2 white. Their average rating is 4.3 out of 5 from 387 ratings. Bertani is in the top 10% of the 77 rated Veneto wineries on VinoVoss.
