Estate Argyros was established in 1903, though the Argyros family had been involved in wine production for decades before that. Yiannis Argyros took hold of the estate in 1974. Matthaios (Matthew) Argyros, the fourth generation of wine growers, has been at the helm of Estate Argyros since 2004.

In Santorini, the estate's landholdings exceed 120 hectares. The average vine age exceeds 70 years, and the oldest parcels are more than two centuries old. On a plentiful vintage, average yields rarely exceed 21 hl/ha. The vast majority of the vines are trained in Koulouri, a low bush vine training system where canes are woven into vertical bracelet-like shapes. The Estate Argyros Winery in Episkopi was established in 2015 and covers more than 3,000 square meters. Grapes grown include Assyrtiko, and its wines include Vinsanto.
On VinoVoss, Argyros has 1 wine in stock: 1 white. Their average rating is 3.8 out of 5 from 62 ratings.
