Harmonious berry flavor elevates the palate, but it's a pale imitation of the clean white version, which is noticeably absent in most Rioja Txakoli.

Truly one-of-a-kind wine experience awaits you. Hailing from the Basque region of 🇪🇸, this wine boasts a singular Hondurrabi Beltza grape variety that imbues the wine with a bold, spicy flavor profile akin to of a lean jalapeño cocktail. The understated sweetness of hibiscus and the juiciness of cantaloupe add a delightful dimension to this fantastic wine. A true standout.

What the web is saying

Zudugarai Antxiola Rosé offers a unique experience with its bold, spicy flavors from the Hondurrabi Beltza grape, complemented by hibiscus sweetness and cantaloupe juiciness. While some appreciate its vibrant strawberry and lime notes, others find it a pale imitation of its white counterpart. The wine's light pétillance and saline undertones add depth, though its youthful tartness may not appeal to everyone.

Voss Experts4.5

This vibrant Txakoli rosé, with its pale salmon hue, offers an enticing bouquet of wild strawberries, red currants, and a hint of sea spray, capturing the essence of its coastal Basque origins. On the palate, it is brisk and invigorating, with a fine effervescence that underscores its youthful vitality. The wine's crisp acidity is beautifully balanced by subtle notes of pink grapefruit and a whisper of minerality, leading to a clean, refreshing finish. This rosé exemplifies the lively, zesty character typical of the region, making it an ideal aperitif or companion to light seafood dishes.
