Mckenzke
Bold and tannic Cab Franc that is too young and lacks balance, with too much alcohol and a short aftertaste. The layers of cherry and tobacco are present, but the trail is marred by a strange liquorice and paisley note. Overall, it is a disappointing pairing that falls short of expectations.
Tokunori
Consistent blend of fresh and earthy elements, with a soft complexity and nuance that elevates the entire ensemble. The verdant freshness of the green bell pepper and leafy tomato is the perfect foundation, supported by a decadent tapestry of oak and tobacco notes, which add a sophisticated complexity. The fruit layers of concentrated blackberry and blueberry add a delightful dimension, meanwhile a nuance of fine pepper provides a gratifying crunch. The in total effect is a robust and engaging wine with remarkable structure and a long finish.
Nuris
Lush and deep wine with a deep, earthy nose and a full-bodied taste. The leather and pepper whispers are well-balanced, during the blueberry and blackberry undertones add a fruity dimension. The tannins are medium, and the conclusion is long and persistent. A stellar pairing for spicy dishes like barbecue.
