Wemen
Intense and full-bodied red wine with a deep, mellow body and undertones of inky fruit and warm spices. Its bold character makes it a exceptional match for hearty, savory dishes like lamb and roasted root vegetables. A classic Greek wine with a long history and a reputation for quality.
Fayo
Seamless union of layers and textures, with the rich, soft tactile quality of the roasted beef precisely paired by the earthy sweetness of the aubergine and the freshness of the spinach salad. The Nemea '18 of the visionary Zacharias Winery, 100% Agiorgitiko from Douramani, aged 12m in oak, offers a complex and graceful experience, with a consistent blend of red fruit, vanilla, spice, and herbs. The mellow tannins and zesty freshness work in harmony to create a full-bodied wine that is both young and tight, with a stonking quality and cost effectiveness for the price. A perfect pairing for a special occasion.
Jodi
Zacharias Nemea is a decadent and powerful wine with a sensual character, exhibiting a well-rounded blend of ripe black fruit, showcasing black cherries, blueberries, and plums, supported by sweet puffs of Port and dried fruit. The texture is built on cherries, with black cherry power enhanced by red cherry freshness, even by a medium herbal kick.

Zacharias Winery Nemea is praised for its rich, full-bodied profile with flavors of plum, cherry, and black fruit, complemented by notes of vanilla, oak, and spice. While some find it smooth and elegant, others note a sharp, tannic edge. It's well-suited for pairing with hearty dishes and offers good value for its price, though some vintages may not meet all expectations.
This Nemea red unfurls with a deep ruby hue, revealing a bouquet of ripe black cherry and plum underscored by hints of dried herbs and a whisper of cedar. On the palate, it showcases a harmonious balance of velvety tannins and vibrant acidity, creating a supple yet structured mouthfeel. The mid-palate is enriched with layers of dark chocolate and a touch of anise, leading to a lingering finish marked by mineral nuances and a subtle spice. Exemplifying the classic character of Agiorgitiko, this wine stands as a testament to the potential of the Nemea region.
