Rich, velvety smoothness with a deep, bold color, the nose is led by by the sweetness of blueberry and black currant, in contrast the sensation is refreshed by the freshness of rustic mint, before giving way to a smooth, graphite middle that is quickly followed by a long, contenting finale that is marked by the warmth of tobacco, blackberry, and baking spices.

What the web is saying

Z. Alexander Brown Uncaged Cabernet Sauvignon is praised for its rich, full-bodied profile with flavors of blackberry, cherry, and oak. Many appreciate its smooth finish and balance, while some find it too sweet or lacking complexity. It's a versatile wine that pairs well with meats and cheeses, offering good value for its price. However, a few reviews mention a lack of depth and an overpowering aroma.

Voss Experts4.0

Z.Alexander Brown Uncaged Cabernet Sauvignon has an intense bouquet of dark berries and cherries and hints of oak, spice and herbs. On the palate, it reveals a full body with firm tannins and a long, layered finish. The wine is bold and powerful, yet surprisingly balanced and elegant, and is sure to please any Cabernet Sauvignon enthusiast.
