Yalumba The Menzies Cabernet Sauvignon is praised for its rich, full-bodied profile with notes of blackberry, eucalyptus, and chocolate. Many appreciate its smooth tannins and aging potential, while some find it slightly unbalanced or astringent. The wine's complexity and harmonious flavors make it a favorite for special occasions, though a few vintages have faced criticism for cork issues or lack of stability.
The Yalumba The Menzies Cabernet Sauvignon offers an enticing array of aromas from blackcurrant, blackberry, and dark chocolate, accompanied by subtle hints of cedar and crushed mint. The aromas are rich and complex on the palate. The wine is full-bodied and well-structured with fine-grained tannins that frame the ripe black fruit flavors. On the finish, there is a firm core of acidity that is wrapped by notes of blackcurrant, spice, and a touch of mint.
