I thoroughly enjoyed the richness of the butter.

Profound and unapologetic assault on the senses, this wine is a force to be reckoned with. The oak notes are a dominant force, a heavy-handed attempt to overpower the palate. The buttered popcorn punch is a fitting metaphor for the wine's unrelenting onslaught.

I'd drink this in a pinch, but not my top choice. Return.

What the web is saying

Hahn Estate Chardonnay is praised for its rich, buttery, and oak-driven profile, often featuring tropical fruit notes like pineapple and pear. While some enjoy its creamy texture and vibrant finish, others find it overpowering or lacking complexity. The wine is generally considered a good value, suitable for casual drinking and pairing with various dishes, though opinions vary on its refinement and balance.

This Hahn Estate Chardonnay is a light, crisp white wine with a bouquet of citrus, white flowers and a hint of oak. On the palate it is medium to full-bodied and creamy, boasting flavors of apples, apricots, and a hint of butterscotch. The finish is bright and refreshing, with a hint of minerality that lingers on the tongue. Enjoy this wine now and for the next several years.
