13-year-old Wente that has aged remarkably well, with notes of spiced blueberry and blackberry that are both concentrated and balanced. The tannic backbone still provides a comforting finish, tempered by a whisper of heat from the alcohol. A long and fulfilling aftertaste that will only improve with age, making it a top notch investment for any serious wine collector.

This Petite Sirah Port receives acclaim for its aging potential, offering concentrated spiced blueberry and blackberry flavors balanced by a firm tannic structure. While some note subtle alcohol warmth, the long finish and collector's value are praised. The generous bottle size presents notable value for tasting occasions.
This deep garnet-hued Petite Sirah Port from Wente Vineyards reveals a captivating bouquet of blackcurrant, dried fig, and dark chocolate, underscored by a whisper of roasted coffee bean. On the palate, it is opulently textured, with a luscious sweetness balanced by firm tannins and a vibrant acidity that enlivens the dense core of ripe blackberry and plum preserves. The finish is long and resonant, with lingering notes of spiced clove and a hint of vanilla. This wine exemplifies the robust character and intricate layering expected from a well-crafted California port-style wine.
