This wine hails from the Ried Bärnreiser vineyard, a premier site in the Carnuntum region of Austria, known for its warm Pannonian climate and gravelly soils. The blend, primarily composed of Zweigelt and Merlot, is crafted to showcase the vineyard's terroir. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel, followed by maturation in oak barrels, which imparts structure and depth. The resulting wine is full-bodied with a balanced profile, offering ripe dark fruit flavors and a refined finish. It is designed for those who appreciate a harmonious expression of Austrian red wine craftsmanship.
