Viña Cobos Bramare Cabernet Sauvignon 2020

Rich and compelling wine with a spicy kick that is smooth by a sweet and lingering finish.

Top 10 selection of wines that I have had the pleasure of savoring. One of the best Cabernets I have ever had the privilege of tasting. Unfiltered and highly concentrated, this wine is a masterclass in complexity. A nod to the renowned Opus One producer, I must admit that this is a truly elite wine. whereas I did not have the pleasure of sampling Opus One, I am eager to acquire more of this amazing wine.

Polished and elegant Cabernet Sauvignon with a distinctly Argentinean twist, thanks to the light influence of Paul Hobbs' winemaking style. The nose is highlighted by lush cassis and black fruit notes, with a suggestion of vanilla and a touch of freshness from the violets. The tongue is silky and velvety, with a nuanced stability of flavors that suggests a small amount of Petit Verdot, likely present in the blend. Overall, a polished and sophisticated wine that showcases the best of both worlds.
