Rich, silky red wine with a smooth, luxurious tactile quality and a deep, mellow finish, with whispers of sweet vanilla and ripe cherry notes.

What the web is saying

Villa Puccini Chianti Riserva is appreciated for its rich, full-bodied profile with notes of cherry, forest floor, and oak. It offers a smooth, sometimes silky finish, though some vintages are noted for being past their prime or too acidic. While some find it vibrant and well-suited for Italian dishes, others mention a lack of complexity. Overall, it's a reliable choice for those seeking a classic Chianti experience.

Voss Experts3.8

Villa Puccini Chianti Riserva DOCG is a bold and complex wine with a deep ruby color. On the nose, aromas of blackberry, black cherry, and sweet spices are complemented by notes of leather, forest floor, and nutmeg. On the palate, ripe and dense flavors of blackberry and black cherry are balanced by a lively acidity and fine tannins, providing a long and persistent finish. Enjoy this wine with classic Tuscan dishes such as pasta with a wild boar sauce or grilled steak.
