Villa Papiano Le Papesse di Papiano offers contrasting experiences, praised for smooth texture, berry/plum flavors, and food versatility, while criticized for short finish and lack of depth. The 2017 vintage stands out with nuanced gamey/flinty undertones and firm tannins, contrasting with simpler profiles in newer vintages. Opinions vary on its complexity versus approachability.
