Vigna Olmo Taurasi Riserva is crafted from Aglianico grapes grown in the Campania region of southern Italy, where the volcanic soils and Mediterranean climate contribute to the wine's structure and complexity. The grapes are harvested late, allowing for full ripeness, and undergo a long maceration period to extract deep color and robust tannins. Fermentation is followed by extended aging in oak barrels, which imparts subtle spice and enhances the wine's aging potential. This full-bodied red offers a balance of rich fruit flavors and firm acidity, making it suitable for extended cellaring or immediate enjoyment with hearty dishes.
