100% Bobal. A red wine that defies convention, as it's typically made from this variety. However, this particular wine was pressed without any contact with the skin, resulting in a white wine with a mild pink hue. The bottle's shape is an anomaly, but its aesthetic appeal is undeniable.
Mickl
Distinctive white wine, crafted from the Bobal grape, ideal for pairing with small plates in Valencia.
Nazmi
My first encounter with Bobal grape reveals a fruit-forward and earthy profile, with notes of citrus and pineapple on the palate. The wine's light gray color is a smooth surprise. even as it may not have a strong nose, its accessibility and affordability make it an curious top pick for pairing with light dishes like fish, pasta, and other simple fare. A worthwhile exploration for those craving a reasonable entry point into the world of Spanish wines. Further exploration of the Bobal portfolio is warranted, notably the intense red variant. I look forward to revisiting this wine in the future.

Vicente Gandía Bobal Blanco is praised for its refreshing, smooth texture and vibrant character, with notes of citrus, peach, and apple. While some find it polished and elegant, others describe it as flat and commercial. Its affordability and unique Bobal grape profile make it a curious choice for pairing with light dishes. The wine's light color and mild pink hue are noted by many.
A luminous pale straw hue introduces this intriguing Bobal Blanco, a testament to the versatility of the Bobal grape. The nose is an aromatic tapestry of white peach, honeysuckle, and a whisper of fennel, underscored by a subtle minerality. On the palate, it reveals a medium-bodied structure with a vibrant acidity that enlivens its core of citrus and green apple flavors. The finish is clean and precise, with a lingering hint of almond and wet stone. This wine exemplifies the potential of Bobal in a white expression, offering both complexity and refreshing clarity.
