Vesuvio Piedirosso is crafted from the Piedirosso grape, native to the volcanic soils surrounding Mount Vesuvius in Campania, Italy. The unique terroir, characterized by mineral-rich soils and a Mediterranean climate, imparts distinct earthy and mineral notes to the wine. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks to preserve the grape's natural fruitiness and vibrant acidity. The wine is typically unoaked, allowing the pure expression of red fruit flavors, such as cherry and plum, to shine. Vesuvio Piedirosso is best enjoyed young, offering a medium-bodied structure with a refreshing finish, ideal for pairing with a variety of Italian dishes.
