Tzora Vineyards Judean Hills Red is praised for its full-bodied, rich profile with flavors of cherry, forest floor, chocolate, and black fruit. While some find its tannins smooth and balanced, others note a grippy finish. The wine's aromas of oak and spices, along with a silky texture, are consistently highlighted. It offers a comforting aftertaste, though some believe it has not yet reached its full potential.
Tzora Vineyards Judean Hills Red is a remarkable wine that showcases the unique terroir of the Judean Hills region. On the nose, you can expect enticing aromas of ripe blackberries, dark cherries, and plums, accompanied by hints of cedar, forest floor, and a touch of earthiness. The palate is equally impressive, with a medium to full body and velvety tannins that provide a smooth and luxurious mouthfeel. The flavors of this wine are well-balanced and complex, with notes of black fruits, such as blackberries and blackcurrants, mingling with subtle hints of spices, like black pepper and cloves. There is also a pleasant touch of oak, adding depth and a gentle vanilla undertone. Tzora Vineyards Judean Hills Red is a wine that can be enjoyed now, but it also has the potential to age gracefully. It is a sophisticated and well-crafted red blend that would make a fantastic addition to any wine enthusiast's collection.
