Promising start, but still needs refinement. The opening was swift, and with some accompaniments, the wine revealed itself, pairing nicely with the wild mushroom pesto and truffle oil finish, as well as the final pork chop. A solid foundation, but room for improvement. A worthwhile experience, but not yet fully realized.
