Tolaini Tenuta Montebello Picconero

Deep and full-bodied Super Tuscan with a long finish, featuring rich layers of blackberry, cassis, blueberries, and plum, alongside hints of leather, spice, and fruit.

Delightful evening of fine wines awaits, with this Super Tuscan blend exhibiting the perfect harmony of Merlot and Cab Franc, a harmonious 65/35% ratio. A quality producer, Tolaini, hails from the Chianti Classico region, crafting a range of fantastic wines, containing a Chianti Classico and Bordeaux-inspired Al Passo and Valdisanti. The resulting Picconero is a masterful blend of red and black berries, licorice, earthy vanilla, mocha, and baking spices, a true delight for the senses.

Opulent and layered wine with a deep, gentle texture, accompanied by soft nuances of vanilla, leather, and smoke. The tannins are well-balanced, with a refined yet welcoming character. The finish is long and satisfying, with a mild accent of licorice and cherry that resonates pleasantly. A perfect pairing for a hearty meal, especially when served with a selection of cured meats and cheeses.
