Touma
Substantial and intense wine, with a deep and mysterious appearance, surrounded by a dense and luscious core. The nose is marked by by the boldness of cedar wood, black and red fruits, anise, and spices, with a fruity and bold flavor profile that is both vibrant and substantial. The palate is noted for by a firm and structured tannic backbone, with a long and dry lasting impression that is both dry and slightly chalky. A wine of stellar size, but one that avoids coming across as overly bold or overpowering. Ideal with hearty and savory dishes, such as BBQ, but may also pair well with bold and gamey meats, like steak. A wine that is best appreciated when aged, but can still be enjoyed in its current form.
