Evolved and layered wine with a full bodied fragrance of berries, spices, and black tea, possibly accompanied by a whisper of cinnamon. The tartness is notably higher than average for a Negroamaro, resulting in a medium to long finish.

Intense and elegant nose, with accents of cherry, plum, and menthol, complemented by a elegant coffee and black pepper undertone. The profile is round, with a comforting tannic composition and a lingering minerality, leaving a pleasant finish.

Voss Experts4.5

This 2019 Negroamaro from Tenute Luspada showcases a deep garnet hue, indicative of its robust character. The nose is a complex tapestry of ripe black cherry, plum, and subtle hints of Mediterranean herbs, underscored by a whisper of dark chocolate. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied with a velvety texture, revealing layers of blackcurrant and earthy minerality, balanced by firm, well-integrated tannins. The finish is long and resonant, with a persistent note of dried fig and a touch of anise. This wine exemplifies the quintessential depth and warmth of Southern Italian reds, offering both immediate pleasure and potential for further aging.
