Voss Expert tasting note
This Tenuta Argentiera Poggio ai Ginepri Bolgheri Superiore DOC has a deep ruby red color with tremendous complexity on the nose. The aromas of ripe blackberry, plum and cedar mingles with subtle notes of forest floor, spice and herbs.

The winery's fruit selection is well-balanced, with a focus on ripeness. The wine's freshness is a welcome respite from the typical fruit-forward styles. The oak adds a soft nuance, while the lasting impression is neither too long nor too short. It's a versatile wine that can complement a variety of dishes.

This Bolgheri red blend receives consistent praise for its well-balanced structure, rich dark fruit flavors, and smooth tannins. Reviewers highlight its full-bodied character with notes of blackberry, plum, and licorice, often complemented by oak and spice nuances. While some find it lacks originality in longer finishes, most appreciate its excellent value proposition. The wine demonstrates good aging potential with a harmonious blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Syrah.
This Tenuta Argentiera Poggio ai Ginepri Bolgheri Superiore DOC has a deep ruby red color with tremendous complexity on the nose. The aromas of ripe blackberry, plum and cedar mingles with subtle notes of forest floor, spice and herbs. On the palate, the flavors are intense and lively, with a great structure and balance. The tannins are present but well integrated and the finish is long and persistent. This is an excellent example of Bolgheri with a great potential for aging.
