Rich and layered wine with a deep, dark color. The fruit accents are prominent, with clear oak and vanilla accents that linger on the palate. The tail is long and satisfying, with a gentle touch of sweetness.

What the web is saying

Starmont Cabernet Sauvignon is praised for its rich, full-bodied character with prominent dark fruit flavors like blackberry and plum, complemented by oak and vanilla notes. While some appreciate its smooth tannins and balanced finish, others find it lacking in complexity or overly tannic. The wine is often described as versatile, pairing well with meats and cheeses, and offering good value for its price.

Voss Experts4.5

The Starmont Cabernet Sauvignon has an intense nose of ripe blackberry and currant, with notes of cedar and subtle spice. On the palate, the wine is rich and full-bodied, with ripe, juicy tannins, blackberry and currant flavors and a long, smooth finish. A great example of a classic Cabernet Sauvignon from the North Coast of California.
